About

Corey LaJoie

Corey LaJoie is a third-generation racer whose father and grandfather are members of the New England Auto Racing Hall of Fame. He joins Spire Motorsports in 2021 as the driver of the No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro.

LaJoie won his way to the NASCAR Cup Series ranks through top developmental series like the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (six victories) and the ARCA Menards Series (three wins). Brief stops in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (two top 10s) and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (one top 10) propelled LaJoie into the NASCAR Cup Series full time. His father, Randy LaJoie, is a two-time (1996 & 1997) NASCAR Xfinity Series Champion.

He spent the last two seasons at the wheel of the No. 32 NASCAR Cup Series entry where he earned three top-10 finishes and a team/career best sixth-place finish at Daytona International Speedway.

LaJoie and his wife Kelly welcomed their first child, Levi Ronnie LaJoie, in 2020. His passion for charitable work has raised over $240,000 for the Christian organization SamaritansFeet.org. In 2019, he hand-wrote the names of each donor onto his car and attended driver introductions at Watkins Glen International with bare feet, underscoring the need to provide shoes to less fortunate individuals all over the world. He was acknowledged for his efforts with the 2019 National Motorsports Press Association (NMPA) distinguished Spirit Award.

LaJoie is a staple on social media platforms and also hosts the podcast Stacking Pennies.
